April 10-April 17 is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. The second week of April in the United States is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. The week is celebrated annually and it honors the thousands of "9-1-1 Dispatchers" who answer emergency calls, dispatch first responders, and relay life-saving instructions to those in need of help.
